Emily’s approach to interior architecture is a combination of her artistic sensibilities with honest, pared-back design principles. She is drawn to spaces that offer a feeling of connection and narrative, memorable spaces that employ diverse contrasts and references to create unique interiors that are original and engaging.
Throughout her career, Emily has gained wide-ranging experience and has a natural drive to innovate. Her completed works cover a global portfolio from residential to retail, workplace and hospitality. Before establishing Daytrip in 2017 with Iwan, Emily worked for leading London interior and architectural companies. She became an Associate at Shed Design at a young age, guiding the team creatively and overseeing worldwide roll-outs of luxury retail environments. Later, as Head of Interiors at APA, she worked on strategic projects for clients Stella McCartney, Marks & Spencer and Barclays.
Emily's natural flair and intuition for residential properties has garnered media attention with many Daytrip projects featuring on The Modern House and in publications worldwide.
